Aside from bats being generally cool, they sound awesome. Their wings make a much more distinct sound compared to birds. I guess because the skin membrane is consistent and traps all the air underneat

Ok so I’ve seen at least 6. A pair bounded across the path, but this cheap iPhone is not built for pre-sunrise action photography.
