Reading this article, where it indicated 15% dissatisfaction with the current governor, I'm a little concerned. Colorado is currently a Democrat haven. I fear the dissatisfaction could shift us away. I do know our state struggles between urban and rural viewpoints.

Burnaby and Vancouver are removing another powerful lever for maintaining affordability by removing inclusionary zoning, which requires some percentage of below market units within projects. Imperfect as it’s been, this was one of the few mechanisms that required new market projects to deliver a share of somewhat more affordable units.
It takes an implausible neoliberal contortion to say that removing the requirement to build affordable housing will lead to housing that's affordable.
If the past is any guide, ... land prices rise to neutralize the supposed cost savings. New units will remain expensive and the gap between housing costs and local incomes widens.
Developers will still make their margins. Land speculators will collect their unearned gains. Ordinary households see little relief.

The #Labor Dept said Thurs that the #unemployment rate declined to 4.2% from 4.3% in May, though the decline mostly occurred because many people out of work gave up looking & were no longer counted as unemployed.
The figures suggest companies remain wary of the #economy’s health, with #inflation at a 3-year high & consumer confidence near post-pandemic lows. The #jobs gains initially reported in April & May were also revised lower.

This is how far behind and how much of a disadvantage Canadians are at right now domestically.
Walk into Canadian Tire and you can by a 500W "kit” of 4 125W solar panels from $1199. That works out to $2.40 per Watt.
Or, you can go on Alibaba as I just did... search for 400W solar, chat with a (AI Bot probably?) and be offered 36 620 watt "JinkoSolar" panels for $US 2500 plus $3000 shipping which works out to $8,510.88 CAD or $0.38 per Watt.
Our governments and business communities are completely failing us. We are getting fleeced.
Granted I don't know if there would be import duties, but FGS the price difference is totally ridiculous.
