Pero, pero, ¿qué me estás diciendo si las renovables han explotado definitivamente, la electrificación avanza imparable, los fósiles van a desaparecer con rapidez y todos los expertos advierten sobre un futuro maravilloso donde la IA hará todo el trabajo y la especie humana vivirá en la contemplación y el deleite de satisfacer nuestros instintos más placenteros?
La reducción es mínima y si además miramos las cantidades brutas correspondientes a los epígrafes del petróleo, gas y carbón, observamos un aumento en todas ellas. Ni siquiera se ha reducido el consumo de carbón.
¿Dónde está la transición energética?
Pues eso. Además habría que añadir que las renovables no son tales. Deberíamos decir, para ser más exactos, "la energía renovable captada por dispositivos no renovables". Hay que excavar minas igual para poder extraer estas "renovables", así que a largo plazo son exactamente igual de no renovables. Lo único es que no se emite tanto gas invernadero (aunque sí se emite tanto en el minado como en la fabricación, transporte e instalación, y seguramente desmantelamiento, porque el diésel interviene en todos estos pasos, de momento insustituiblemente).
De todo este marrón, ¿qué nos pillará en nuestras vidas, y qué a nuestros hijos, o nietos, o bisnietos? Bueno, yo diría que por lo pronto, a nosotros ya las guerras por los recursos y para mantener la supremacía de ese occidente genocida (sobretodo con los demás, y cada vez más consigo mismo, como vemos en Ucrania y pasaremos a ver en Europa (aka Eucrania, como dicen)). Llegaremos a ver ataques nucleares? No me parece nada descartable, sobretodo si el objetivo de EEUU es "que se hunda todo, yo incluido, si es la forma en que puedo ir estando siempre por encima de los demás". Me parece que estamos en un momento más parecido a la 1a Guerra Mundial que a la 2a (aunque con los fascismos de los años 30 volviendo).
Y a todo esto, poco se habla de las disrupciones de fertilizantes por el estrecho de Ormuz, y del impacto que habrá en unos meses cuando falte comida a millones de personas...
