My upgrade from OPNsense 26.1 to 26.7 did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. So, I made a blog post about making a fast recovery and potential CPU microcode issues with certain hardware such as CWWK.

Started working on my own #terraform provider for my private cloud. Managed to get SSH key create/delete working. Now, I should be able to rapidly finish this provider over the next week.

#askfedi #blog #homelab #selfhosting #linux trying to gauge if I should put any serious time/energy into this. I have built my own rack solution (rack, chassis, accessories) for consumer grade hardware (it follows enterprise spec).
I am considering #opensource under the GPL of all my designs so that others can build their own commodity racks with consumer grade hardware. I'm thinking I'll blog post each of the major sections and push to #codeberg each time.
Anyone have an interest in these?
