Well, I disagree with his take on #ClaudeCode being #neurosymbolic and that it "changes everything". An if clause in the #LLM orchestration or harness does not make a neurosymbolic #AI

Zooming out a bit though, I think he starts seeing coding assistants in a more positive light.

The #Netherlands is the first #European country to approve #Tesla Full Self Driving Supervised.

Dutch authorities found that the assistance system makes a "positive contribution to safety" but is "NOT autonomous or self-driving".

@afreytes@mastodon.gamedev.place Yeah, fully agree! I know people proudly see it as a "you are the algorithm" kind of thing, but it probably messes things just up.

I have no experience with other social media platforms (apart from a short attempt at BlueSky), my best guess is that other platforms feel somehow slower in how they target content at their users. Mastodon should be slower too, not like an uncontrollable avalanche of content! Do not mean to inherit the downsides of the commercial platforms of course.

Super interesting analysis of how a population of #Chimpanzees gradually decomposes into two distinct social groups that eventually wage #CivilWar against each other.

Isolation, polarization, border patrols and lethal aggression emerge along the way. All feels eerily similar to us #humans.

Just seen on #amazon that some children's books are now advertised with a "without AI" tag. For me that indeed qualifies as a valid selling point these days.

What a no-brainer. I had thought this malpractice was already forbidden, which apparently wasn't the case. Great news!
