A local bakery that specializes in gluten free bread, pastries, and cakes reached out to us...
...we didn't reach out to them. They contacted us!...
...about doing food rescue with them!
Not only are they looking at food rescue in general, but they're specifically looking at serving those that are hungry AND have food allergies and intolerances!
Everyone deserves healthy, tasty, good, and safe food (and also desserts!!!) - even those that have food constraints.
So we worked it out. Every day they take whatever they didn't sell and freeze it. We come by once a week and pick it up and run it to one of the fridges!
Look at this first haul!!!

In Hessen wurden seit 2018 auf einer Fläche von 10.000 Hektar etwa 27 Millionen Bäume gepflanzt. Diese Wiederbewaldung war dringend notwendig, denn Klimawandel und Extremwetter haben im Wald große Schäden verursacht.

The article published in Science has detailed how massive solar arrays in the Sahara Desert have started to trigger increased rainfall and vegetation growth.
They drastically lower the temperature around the sand that they sit on, effectively “greening” the desert. As the warm air around the panels has nowhere else to go but up, they naturally form massive rainclouds in a part of the world known for its dryness.
