1. A brief but hard rain shower, after 3 completely dry weeks. The farm needs more but it's a start.

2. Completed a major cloud app upgrade and data migration for a client without major issues.

3. Quoted for some new work for same client. Approx 6 days work, the fee for which would cover our overheads for 2 months. Hopefully it will get approved.

So it's #3GoodThings today.

Priority for September: buy an additional used #ThinkPad as cheaply as possible (spec not important), install #NetBSD and see how well the #Linux apps I use are supported. #Debian #Kernel #NoAI #AIslop

@collectifission@greennuclear.online Last month I moved my object storage the other way, from Backblaze to Hetzner.

Reasons:

1. Backblaze communication errors ("no tomes") steadily increasing month on month
2. Backblaze transfer speeds steadily decreasing month on month
3. Backblaze is US-owned; my (EU-based) clients are demanding "full EU" regarding data sovereignty

Hetzner seems rock solid based on 6 weeks experience and has solved all the above problems for me.

@collectifission@greennuclear.online Time will tell I guess. I have DanubeData and OVH waiting in the wings to try if I have problems (I have to stick to EU owned providers).

@KatyElphinstone@mas.to Makes total sense. I'm convinced my CPTSD aggravates my executive functioning difficulties, and in turn my autistic and ADHD executive functioning difficulties make dealing with my CPTSD harder.
