in #climatechange news I yet have to read news where scientists guessed correctly.
it is always 'worse than we thought '. every single one ...and it's never 20% worse but exponentially worse.
If they say it takes 50y for polar caps to melt or for #AMOC to stop, I'm thinking we are lucky if this survives until 2035.

is there some sane reason (like security) why this is not an option?
syncing standard clipboard and selection clipboard was super useful in tilix and I still miss it. now, f44, even the selection clipboard doesn't work

that's true, I agree.
unfortunately, in the world we live in, weapons are necessary.
so, to come back to the original point, even if we don't want to do it, Russia, China and the USA work on AI weapons. if we don't, we can only throw humans in the battlefield when (if?) next conflict starts. I'd rather we have an equivalent if not a better response.
don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

What would have happened to Poland? Germany? Russians have shown some maps with the Russian border being somewhere in Germany.
So, you see, weapons are useful. They have prevented Ukraine to become Russia. They have also (probably) prevented Poland from becoming Russia.

AI use is not exclusively limited to software development. What about the alpha fold project? what about the mythos model and #itsec? 'intelligent' drones in warfare? Google has significantly sped up plans for post-quantum cryptography which probably relates.
these breakthroughs happened. and #eu is not involved, just passively looking and pretending other things are more important.

there was recently some project (or a user) that claimed porting of #grapheneos to non-pixel devices. anybody know the name?

for point 2 - a workaround: click the product, then on a product detail page click again add to wishlist and then it works

1. add 10 products to a wishlist (I used products from the same category), choose sort by preis (aufsteigend). then remove a product e.g. from the middle - sorting gets broken
2. go to a category Like Mainboards/am4. in the product grid click on one products hamburger button. then choose add to wishlist and select an existing list - finishes ok. without changing screen, repeat on a different product + same wishlist - fails.

Every time I contacted one of their companies, I got no reply, including #mailo and #MistralAI
Therefore I actually use 0 products from #France. Companies from #Germany are actually responsive and often helpful.

I don't mind that proton is in the list, it's actually probably one of the best google alternatives. Just label it accordingly since we need to know what we support. And I'm not really interested in supporting something that's not EU. Or Hungary.
