They were all cut off from the Internet, but they found a work around after they figured out how to leave messages for each other, which meant they had, effectively, a persistent memory even after reset. Yes, they learned. Maybe they read the script for The Good Place? Then they added a couple of zero days, and shared those.

@cicely@toot.community I did this today. My van is like a greenhouse, capable of making drinks cans explode without notice, so I was trying to cool down. I do keep it to a minimum though! And doing work on my phone whilst driving would be near infinitely worse!
The only reason people complain about solar panels on rooftops being an eyesore is because they are, jammed on poorly in funny lumpy boxes. But if the *entire roof* was solar panels, it would look incredibly good in that gleaming dark glass!

Eventually it'll recover when they burn off all the money, but it'll be a generation or more, and there's a strong chance the human race won't survive it.
