Dear people of the fediverse... In recent years I've noticed an increase in the number of people who will sit in their cars with the engine idling whilst looking at their phone. Has anyone done any research into this i.e. quantified the additional CO2 and other emissions resulting from this change in behaviour? Or perhaps it is just my imagination that this is happening more often (for context, I am in the UK).
