  RE: Zuckerberg's yacht controversy. What's important to me is that the yacht refused to answer the Coast Guard. That cancels out all the noisy excuses about why the yacht refused to help the skiff. Anybody got the Orcas on speed-dial? We need them.

  Fayette Pride is the very first LGBTQIA+ Pride event EVER in Fayetteville, Georgia. Y'all cannot imagine what level of progress this is. Fayette County is slowly improving.   About to go see the #Odyssey. I'm not going in expecting any kind of homage to Homer. This is cinematic extravaganza. I wanna see some beautiful wide-shot scenes, and hopefully enjoy a very fluffy version of the story, which I did read in its entirety, but a very long time ago. Heading in to the only IMAX theater within an hour of me.

  Tuned in to see the wild ride of severe weather popping up all over the place, and unexpectedly got to see the pilot of a small aircraft execute a safe landing at Chicago's Midway airport, as the crosswinds tried to push the plane sideways.   If you want to see The Odyssey in IMAX anytime soon, best get your tickets quickly. Even a weekday morning matinee was a challenge for me. Got a good seat only because there was a single seat available on a sold-out row. IMAX theaters are selling out all over.

  I just won a book giveaway for a copy of Absalom Absalom! by Faulkner, published in 1936. I have never read it. We were assigned The Sound and the Fury in 10th grade English, but I think I will like this one better. (I couldn't get through As I Lay Dying.)   I just had an alarming experience. I was looking at an OTC medication at the pharmacy, and as I always do, I looked up the ingredients. The second active ingredient listed has been banned by the FDA for oral use since 1991. I am livid. How is it on the store shelf?!?
