Tuned in to see the wild ride of severe weather popping up all over the place, and unexpectedly got to see the pilot of a small aircraft execute a safe landing at Chicago's Midway airport, as the crosswinds tried to push the plane sideways. In Indianapolis, traffic cams showed a fully engulfed SmartCar on fire at a busy intersection, being ignored by other drivers, as wicked weather descended. It was unclear if lightning had set the little car on fire, but EMS got there pretty quickly to put it out. There has also been a terrible tornado in Wisconsin today, and severe storms in Ohio caused a delay in the start of the Reds game, and had folks scrambling to leave King's Island. South Dakota got rocked, as well as Florida, and Kentucky should be on the alert as well.
