@theregister@geeknews.chat @lproven@social.vivaldi.net I think that is bad and @linuxfoundation@social.lfx.dev should not have caved in on said pressure but stricly banned #AIslop contributions and treated it like they treated malicious contributions the same way #Valve deals with #Cheaters! Plus the removal of #i486 support is IMHO bad because it was fine and shpuld've been left in.And I'm not just complaining because I maintain a #minimalist distro (@OS1337@infosec.space) that targets i486 (SX), like #Vortex86…

As in: If it can't use that #Website with @torproject@mastodon.social / #TorBrowser over an #Iridium connection @2400bit/s it should be illegal to put it online! Kind of harsh, IK. I'm so sick of the Enshittification that it makes me more and more "militant" in terms of #Privacy, #DataProtection, #ConsumerRights & #UserRights. Wenn mein momentaner Vertrag ausläuft, was leider erst 2028 der Fall sein wird, werde ich auf jeden Fall auf ein Telefon umsteigen, was von Anfang an reines #Linux unterstützt. Das wird mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auch ein #Fairphone sein. Bis dahin sollte die Emulation von #Android Apps dank #Valve deutlich besser sein, sodass Banking nichts im Weg steht. Valve is persuading the HDMI Forum to allow open source support for HDMI 2.1 on Linux (SteamOS) without restrictions 💫 This video standard brawl isn't a do-or-die problem for the Steam Machine - most won’t even notice. The HDMI Forum holds Linux gaming back artificially tho.
