OPP lay more than 1,800 charges in southwestern Ontario over Civic Holiday weekend Ontario Provincial Police laid 1,815 charges during the Civic Holiday weekend in the West Region including hundreds for speeding and dozens for impaired driving. Ebikes are "becoming one of the biggest public safety challenges facing our community. Not because e-bikes are inherently dangerous.
