@hannaB@social.vir.group It's not so much that there's a perfect intervention (although you do probably want to hit motivation and the ability to respond at the same time - or better yet, create structures that make saving essier). It's more about how there's little point intervening when people are in stable settings

Just relocated to the toot.wales instance, so will repeat my #introduction.
I'm an #environmental #psychologist at Swansea University. I work on #behaviourchange in #transport, #trafficsafety, #energyuse and #wateruse.
I work with #engineers and #architects to create a #lowcarbon #builtenvironment that works for people.
In looking at these topics I use the #psychology of #habits and #socialnorms and look at the influence of the #builtenvironment and #culture on people's everyday #behaviour
