Some friends asked me, "What's that tag on your running shoe?" For runners, cyclists, or anyone engaging in sports outside, this is perhaps the best safety device you can have - it's called RoadID, and it is a steel tag engraved with a website that first responders can use to access your name, emergency contacts, basic health information like allergies and chronic illnesses, health insurance and more. On the rear of the tag is an ID and PIN that first responders may use to access the information online, 24x7x365. I have no financial interest in RoadID. The tags come for shoes (probably the worst, since every person hit by a car loses their shoes, it's amazing), wristbands, watchbands, and other creative tools. I've had mine for more than a decade, and recommend them highly (though the company auto-subscribes you to their marketing bullshit every time you make a change, so one must remember to de-tick the box allowing them to spam you). https://roadid.com #running #cycling #skiing #hiking
