Hello, how are you doing? This is #NakedDieFriday speaking, and today's post is the continuation of the one from last week. It is the second die out of Conexant FM336PLUS, a modem chip. Unfortunately, there was some trash on the die which I could not remove. The die is larger than the other one and appears to be fully digital. There are a lot of memory blocks as well. Hello! This is a very late #NakedDieFriday talking. I got caught in something here and totally lost track of time. Today we have one half of a chip. :D This FM336PLUS by Conexant contains two dies, but I only imaged one of them due to time constraints. The product itself is a "High Performance Fax Modem" going all the way up to 33600bps! Hands up those who had one of 33.6k modems back in the day. I did, and I loved it. Greetings! How are you all doing? It's been raining here on and off for a couple days now. But that's not going to stop #NakedDieFriday is it. Today's exhibit is a sibling of the venerable 6502. This is almost the same, but made in CMOS: R65C02 by Rockwell. The design has been enhanced in several aspects over the NMOS one.
