The often used American law enforcement motto "To serve and protect" explained. “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect" --Frank Wilhoit, American Political Scientist If we make better laws, perhaps we'll start getting better law enforcement. Or we can continue on the path of creating forced labor industries in our penal system. #Police #Laws

"The corporation a present-day instrument of destruction because of its compulsion to externalize any cost that an unwary or uncaring public will allow it to externalize. The notion that we can take and take and take and take, waste and waste, without consequences, is driving the biosphere to destruction.” — Ray Anderson #USPol #Corporations #CitizensUnited #SCOTUS #Laws #Congress #Socialism

In this #HotTake I will get #wild with my #thoughts on a couple of key #topics of #interest here. Starting with #consensual #sexuality as a whole. All forms of #government need to stop making #laws that prohibit how people live their lives as a #group by any #culture #background #race or #creed indeed. Secondly, when it comes to the topic of #gender state very clearly your #biological preference on your own terms. Let #organizations choose what those are, not arbitrarily but actually as such.
