For me, a road to death, that you're aware of, includes having personal dignity & being able to live out your last days/weeks/months/years with as much joy & comfort as possible. I don't believe that terminally ill people deserve lesser than humane, compassionate care. It means not having to work multiple jobs It means being able to have a good education It means being able to have good housing. It means being able to raise a family. It means being able to have good health. It means being able to retire. It means being able to have hobbies. It means being able to exercise. It means being part of communities. It means living in safe neighbourhoods. It means drinking clean water straight from the tap. It means eating good quality food. It means breathing unpolluted air. It means nationalising industries. It means safe roads. It means public transport. It means parks and green spaces in cities It means protected wilderness. It means biodiversity It means a stable climate It means the redistribution of wealth. It means stamping out corruption. It means no "AI" slop It means stopping "AI" taking everyone's jobs It means everyone has a good life It means everyone has a life that is worth living. It means that everyone contributes to making the world a better place. It means everyone has the freedoms set out in the #UNDeclarationOfHumanRights It means #Ubuntu It means #dignity It means its time for the billionaires to hide in their bunkers because we are coming for them.
