I've learned that you cannot rent a #bakfiets with the intention to use it for moving. This is very unfortunate. I have movers scheduled for later this month, but I have some stuff I would prefer to move myself. It's a little over 1km #moving #carryshitolympics

Why, yes, it was absolutely necessary to ride the family’s e-#cargobike with 2 37L panniers to pick up one #book at my local store. That time in 2014 when I won a chicken coop in a raffle, but there were no ziptrucks available and it didn't fit in my friend's car - so I biked it home. I just happened to be wearing a #Seattle #DisasterReliefTrials t-shirt at the time. #CargoBike #CarryShitOlympics

@eigengott@mstdn.social 💭 ... könnte eventuell ein klein wenig mehr als die offiziell zugelassenen 10 kg sein ... 💭 (aber dafür schon echtes #CarryShitOlympics) Den Rucksack brauchst Du am Fahrziel vermutlich? Sonst (weiß ich seit kurzem, vermutlich kennst Du die schon) gibt es als inoffizielles Zubehör eine "Gepäckträgerverlängerung", damit kann man dann auch "normale" Fahrradtaschen ans Brompton schnallen. Auf jeden Fall: Gute Fahrt + schick Bilder

@spaceV@ruhr.social Cool, I never tried a Carla Cargo but they seem extremely robust and well thought out. Would like to try! For everyday use I've got an unspecified old trailer that works for about up to 100 kg. Pictured with a fridge old enough to be marked "Made in W.Germany" (that finally failed..). #cycling #carryshitOlympics

ich vergess doch nicht, dass ich euch noch meine gestrigen #carryshitolympics schuldig bin. Nur echt, wenn neben der Ladung noch eine neue Eurobox mit nach Hause muss, damit die Ladung vernünftig gelascht werden kann... Bei 66 kg Zuladung und etwas z weit hinten liegendem Schwerpunkt wird sie etwas flatterhaft in der Lenkung, die Kiste, aber sie läuft.

It's warm out here. Not my best work but it did the job. Was able to use it for maybe 20 minutes for fanning in cooler air in between people smoking on their balconies. :| #CarryShitOlympics
