I got to talk to my dear young Iranian friend for almost an hour yesterday. It was such a joy to see her lovely face and hear her reassuring me that she and her family really are okay.

A beautiful monarch butterfly spent some time flying around the marsh milkweed we planted 2 years ago. Such a joy to see.

This pretty coneflower (echinacea), left over from my patch of wildflowers that is almost taken over by common milkweed, was discovered by a leaf cutter bee, late this afternoon.

I like watching movies. I’m 35 years old. Disabled and on ssi. #Movies I would advise muting #FrightClub if you arent in our nightly horror watch party. I’m a Democrat who has voted for every kind of Democrat. Progressive, New Democrat, and Blue Dog. I occupy a space between Progressive and New Democrat and try not to let disappointments get in the way of remembering 50% is better than 0% and to shoot for 60% in my recently made swing district.
