@internetarchive@mastodon.archive.org link is working iff you include the three dots at the end: "archive.org/details/dream-a-little-dream..."

@quixoticgeek@social.v.st that's really cool! thanks for the info. as I mentioned in a different response, i thought efficiency was way higher, but the cool part is we have a lot of margin for improvement

@BaronessWinter hi, I did share the name of the website in a different post on the thread. it's called https://compost.party and the link aggregation part is https://links.compost.party I found it thanks to the "Servers with personality" at https://caolan.uk/links/servers

SOLVED
Hi, I need some help. A while ago I found a website that was running on a phone connected to a solar panel. It was a link aggregation website where anybody could post links (it wasn't low-tech magazine). The UI was primarily green and white.
Could you help me boost this post so I can find that website again? In the meantime, feel free to post your favorite solar-powered low-tech (running on a RPI or phone, for ex) websites as well

@foobarsoft @johnefrancis @molly0xfff i think you can just sell the idea to netflix and they'll make 8 1hr episodes out of it

@molly0xfff if I ever hack your google account i will format your spreadsheets, color-code the cells, give them descriptive names and add comments/labels to make sure other hackers can understand what you're calculating

@cap_ybarra@beige.party yeah, i agree with this. i think it's a holdover from previous social media websites.
i often comment on other people's posts, although im not sure if that makes me a reply-person (still kinda confused at what that means, tbh)
(posted in my main acct)

@molly0xfff couldn't be me. as soon as any excel file I create reaches some complexity threshold (mostly vibes based, tbh) I start formatting everything.
I usually also fill the cells with autocalculated values some shade of gray to know i shouldn't touch those:)) (i know i could just lock the cells, btw)

@lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social wait until we tell him some people are doing complex geometry on higher-dimensional non-euclidean planes and we still find ways to use their results
