Is there still a demo scene? Those dudes were mind boggling back in the 90s
Please join me in this evening's epic scream into the void. We begin momentarily.
In my dream last night i was going to look at an apartment for sale inside Yankee stadium. The agent took us on this tour of the stadium, which was sort of like the mall of America in size and complexity (hidden movie theater, ice hockey on the second floor?). The place was ridiculous and I wasn't sure I really wanted to live inside a sports stadium (would it be loud?) but the price was really good and it could be an investment. Sadly, the agent never actually showed us the actual apartment, so I can't say whether it was worth the cost ($300k asking). Instead, the dream transitioned into a forced interview with the FBI who needed my statement about a serial killer who did messed up things with people's faces.
It was around this time in the dream when I remembered why I really didn't want to stay in the US. I think I was currently living in South Carolina in the dream, which i haven't done in 26 years.
Anyways, I'm also kinda in the mood to watch some baseball now.
Help me out. I'm trying to think of the quintessential films that demonstrate the different types of theoretical time travel.
- Back to the Future
- 12 Monkeys
- Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure or Predestination
What else? I'm thinking Primer is a 12 Monkeys type, but maybe it needs another category. And what about multiverse? What's the best choice there?
You know what's funny about the TSA lines in the US? They could just... not have them
Is the pope hat still funny? Like, its existence. Its shape, size. That we just call it the pope hat? I think it's still funny. I'll be on my way
Do you want your computer to sound like an 80s #scifi device with lots of bleeps and bloops and swoops? Are you running #linux?

This is my recreation of an old program from nullsoft called 'beep' that does just that. The more stuff your computer is doing (cpu, mem, network, etc) the more it beeps and boops. Enjoy!
One of my current happy things in life is lying in bed half awake in the morning listening to my wife grind coffee beans while my son is having breakfast. He'll be coming into the bedroom in a few minutes to say goodbye before he heads out to school and she will sit down with her avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning. It's all background sounds to me. A happy family routine of sounds.
