Could requiring an 18-character passphrase that has to be entered up to 8 times a day, depending on workflow, be a failure to "make reasonable accommodation" for a person with dyspraxia? Asking for a frustrated me.

Two shows tomorrow.

10am–12pm I'm covering "Love is on The Air" on @lichfieldradio. Two hours of love songs and easy listening with MrsVark. It'll be chill and occasionally soppy. We're fine with that.

Then tomorrow night at 9pm it's the usual theaardvark live Sunday set at live.theaardvark.co.uk — eclectic, loud, no idea what's coming next.

So much this.......

I have so many projects started that are more than a little beyond my abilities. Either
1) My hyperfocus kicks in for not just the project, but learning the skills needed to complete the project, and I spend ages learning just enough to get it done. But then don't use those skills again for months/years, so promptly forget them. Or
2) I get completely demoralised by my inability to do something I was never able to do anyway, but now I feel like a failure for it.

I somehow ended up with press accreditation at Bearded Theory festival last weekend. Somehow got interviews. Somehow, all of the audio is actually usable. This Tuesday, Alt-Shift's Jess and I are doing a full debrief on Lichfield Radio — Black Water County, Ferocious Dog, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican.... the lot.

Does anyone other than the most extreme of CLI geeks ever remember the mystical incantations required to get things like magick or ffmpeg to work?

I have a cheat sheet right in front of me for the 1 or two things I do regularly, and I still don't understand it.

And don't get me started on the problems caused by dyspraxia and an inability to type accurately.
