Thoughts for today:
1. Prioritize rest over all the shoulds.
2. Has anyone else noticed that when you use words like sale, purchase, your likes, reach, etc decrease? Hard to sell art if you can't say you sell art.
3. Do you ever feel like you're selling nothing everywhere? Spreading myself thin across many sites isn't the answer. Fear tells me I need to be everywhere to gain visibility. My intuition is saying no. Focus. I'm listening to her.

You know what's ironic?
I just spent days doing daily social media posts trying to let people know about all the products & commissions I offer.
Guess who bought one of my art pieces.
A person who doesn't use social media. She discovered my art via my newsletter, Dear Creative Soul.
Post what you want when you want, but don't depend on social media for everything. There is life outside of social media, maybe even people waiting to discover your work.

I'm named after my great great grandmother. I celebrate her life, her courage, and I mourn that she died in childbirth giving birth to her 10th child. Unfortunately, women dying in childbirth is not a distant memory, something the world has solved. I cannot heal this wound alone, but I can do one small thing.
