Apparently the solution is to vent online about things into the void and then things magically start working!
Last night and today was spent trying to get #gluetun working under #k3s with #protonvpn 's free plan...
Still can't get it to work.
Nothing like building a new bed on a day off.

My biggest frustration with #Fedilab is that it won't auto resize images like other apps do. And I keep forgetting that it won't, so I then get annoyed when I finally figure out why the post hasn't posted.

We kind of draw do you typically see on average from all that hardware? Are you able to produce enough from the panels to have a net gain afterwards?

It boils down to ease of use for the casual user. Plex "just works" for those without technical know how. Jellyfin, to get it in a place where I like it took tinkering and installation of various plugins.
But if I was going to call out one feature specifically? Setting up remote access, plex's relay service makes it a lot easier
After seeing the news about the #SmartThings api changes related to cost. I'm happy my mini split is being controlled locally via an #esphome.
I get why they are doing it, cloud costs are not free but to suddenly spring it on folks sucks hard
