@colinstu@birdbutt.com oh boyyyyyyyy. On Cinema is incredible. Started out as a podcast ostensibly reviewing movies that turned into a web video series. But of course the show is just a front to trickle in all the crazy shit that happens behind the scenes and between the episodes. There's a five hour long Trial of Tim Heidecker which is part of the On Cinema universe. It's how @auspex@packmates.org and I first got into it. We were at his folks place for xmas, started watching it kinda at random one night, then suddenly it was 2am and we had watched the whole thing. It's outrageously hilarious, and apparently also quite the realistic mock trial from what actual lawyers and judges have said about the production. Also part of the universe is the 24 hour spoof Decker, and the rock band Dekkar, and they usually do a live Oscars special each year that invariably ends in some sort of catastrophe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40wkJJXfwQ0&t=7952s

for as much hate as furaffinity gets it's still vastly better than twitter or bluesky for posting and retaining* furry art. and the other furry-run sites as well, like e621, sofurry, weasyl, inkbunny, itaku, and so on.

genuinely I don't understand furs who enjoy furry art who don't have an account on at least one of those sites.

*except of course when artists nuke their galleries, but that's both their right to do, and there are archives to dig through if one really wants to find

@soatok I don't desire the part of the outcome where I feel so inadequate that it dulls my interest. Especially with a common ADHD trait of being interested in a broad range of things but rarely having the spoons to go deep in any one area, I end up feeling inadequate in many of my own areas of interest, let alone feeling the same thing in my actual day job

Some folks are working on a class action lawsuit against Microsoft because of people being locked out of playing the game they paid for, just because they didn't migrate their account in time. And because of constant updates to the terms and services without proper notice given to customers.
