Been lazily playing Star Ocean: Blue Sphere which isn't super great but is kinda crazy great looking for a gameboy colour game.
I'm not anywhere particularly cool looking right now, but the character animations and layers going on in this little battle look so good for gameboy hardware!

Finished "By Night in Chile" by Roberto Bolano which was a breathless and disorienting read.
1. I feel that I am likely not be literarily mature enough to fully appreciate Bolano's works (having read this and Savage Detectives I am missing a LOT of stuff that I read in synopses after I'm done)
2. I don't know enough about Latin American history to fully appreciate Bolano's works
3. Having tried to read some of his poetic works and finding it impenetrable, I definitely don't understand the artist particularly well
And yet there's something compelling about his writing (even translated), so I'm probably going to try to tackle the very large 2666 anyways
Went to a #MagicTheGathering prerelease event with some friends and my partner and had no idea this was a 5 hour ordeal (but we had a lot of fun and everyone was super nice!)
Sat down at my little electric piano for the first time in.... a while
It would appear I have taken 3-5 steps back, and even the handful of songs i had memorized are mostly gone :[
Time to start memorizing again

This time the inspiration was the 1922 film HAXAN which was pretty neat as someone who's not usually into older films.
For my submission I made a poem and wrote it into a little magic circle with a dip pen which took a very long time.

@alisynthesis didn't think I was going to be able to catch the show, but my jet-lagged ass woke up at 4 am here and the first thing I thought of was "oh shit I can catch the stream" which started literally a minute later!
