After a promising-ish start, she then basically fully embraced Biden's extremely unpopular platform including his stances regarding Israel/Gaza. She lost a large fraction of the 2020 winning coalition at that point. I was dreading the election as I saw that trainwreck happening.

They only appear far-left when compared to the very right wing corporate Dems. It seems that some voters have finally figured this out.

Not a surprise that many old farts like me are comfortable here - it does come with what was not so great about the era as well though, lots of gatekeeping and a very male/white dominated culture. Good thing the fedi is getting better, but the old echoes are still present.

Emergency responders shouldn't be forced to play nanny for self-driving cars. Any of them that misbehaves should be impounded and the company responsible for these cars heavily fined (not returning the car until fine is paid). Any vehicle with multiple violations should be confiscated and scrapped as they've proven to be unsafe.
