We got through Play review again 🎉. The 5fth beta of @jellyfin@mastodon.online for #android is now live for all beta testers. I've already submitted the 6th beta, which hopefully will be approved more quickly. Unless any major issues get reported I'm hopeful to release the app either this or next week. Jellyfin for Android TV version 0.19.9 brings faster loading of the homepage, fixes the app crashing on invalid Live TV images and solves an issue with the screensaver not working after playing videos. This release will be available on F-Droid, the Amazon Appstore and Google Play in the coming days.

Upgraded my PC at the office to the new #PopOS with the #COSMIC desktop. It did solve some video driver issues I was having, but at the same time it feels like using an alpha product at best. The new desktop surely needs some refinement before I can recommend it to others.

A new beta version of the mobile @jellyfin@mastodon.online app for Android is currently rolling out on the Google Play store. If everything goes well it should get a stable release soon.

This release was long overdue and fixes a few annoying issues together with compatibility for #Jellyfin 10.11!

I've just published the roadmap project for the Jellyfin Android TV app! It will slowly get bigger over time while I figure out how exactly I want it to be organized.

The priority for now is to keep working on better video support though!
