Shonen Knife, a power trio from Osaka, JP. While they've a great Ramones cover album¹, they're really an all-around great band with high-energy songs making the small clubs they usually play in Europe absolutely burst.

A local band for #MusicWomenWednesday!
"Malice in Wonderland" (sadly, easily confused, discogs has 14 acts of that name) makes Symphonic Metal; rhythm instrumentation style (esp. bass drum double beats) says it's Melodic Death, too.
Don't like to pigeonhole anyways:
They're a female-fronted metal band that plays few, but excellent gigs, and has an album with a lot of pretty different highlights.
