This is actually a bit surprising to me (#Horizon pots are large, and widely scoped, so integration of #Japan does mean significant growth in efforts), but fits well into the #geostrategic framework of weaning off research dependency with the US. Hmm. Wonder what that means for domestic #research #funding, and cross-organizational projects (which are rather typical for Horizon programmes).
