I can’t speak to biology, but in physics it’s absolutely impossible to jump to the most “true” theory… and even if you do it’s not very useful. Although really everything is made of quantized fields, that doesn’t explain billiards. Although we live in curved spacetime, that doesn’t help understand how a pendulum swings. The detail is impossible to understand without basics couched in relatable terms.
