It updates the system, installs AUR packages, enables services, modifies /etc/fstab, mounts NFS shares, and enables update timers. Useful? Sure. Help. I barely arrived on Mastodon and people are already favoriting and boosting my first post.

And here I was thinking it wasn’t even that meaningful.

Apparently, simply showing up as a human being on the internet still works.
