  i've been feeling very odd today anyway and then just spent the last 20mins looking at pics of the outside and inside of a house i lived in when i was smollish (but much more recent pics) and now i feel very, very odd indeed. it was not a happy place or a happy time and i think i might need a piece of chocolate.

  a question please for people with UV sensitivity who have systemic symptoms (i.e., not just skin symptoms): does it burn your air parts? i spent some time by a sunny window yesterday without thinking (or protecting myself) and now my nose/ears/throat/upper chest and airways BURN. or feel raw? a bit like if i've tried to run in cold air but so much worse. my voice is very weak too and i was coughing a lot earlier just from the irritation in my upper lungs (or the upper parts of my lungs!)....

  we had rain!! 🙇 still (lots) more heatwave to come, but at least things have had a drink. (as an aside: i've been very worried about the totoro tree (and friend), given we've had about 2 hours of rain in the past 2 months. but husband said that actually our fosse (septic tank) waters it! it's a system of several tanks that filter things, and clean water flows out of the last one. and the only place it can go is under the lane / down the hill, so it's sure to reach the trees&#3...
