i thought i should write a heatwave diary but every entry would be the same too hot too ill can't breathe worried about the cats horrified at what we've done to this beautiful planet desperate to fix it wondering if today will be the day i collapse? of course now it's extra humid so i guess that's a change we ordered an a/c out of fear for our lives but it hasn't come yet does that count as news? while the forests burn the forecast says it'll be cooler by a few degrees over the next few days until saturday anyway when it goes up and up again #poetry #heatwave
