these may look like happy cats. but what they actually are is: one cat is extremely needy and demands grooming from the other cat by flopping on him / shoving her face in his face. he is the softest thing ever and very tolerant (even though he doesn't like her); he often capitulates, but in this instance, he chose to look away and attempt to ignore her. she has realised that her plan hasn't worked so is grumping slightly while considering her optons. (the situation was "resolved" when she really stared bothering him and i gently but firmly hooshed her away.) #CatsOfMastodon #cats
