hello! as many of you know, i've been out of work since mid may due to my declining health. i finally found a GP last month (after literally years), and while she can't treat me, she did give me a referral and help me submit an application for disability benefits. but it could be months–a year before even i hear anything, and we need to survive in the meantime. (plus i'm not great at being out of work.) so! i'm considering a gentle return to something, but i'm not sure the best way to go about it. i absolutely cannot handle the pace that i had before; husband thinks i shouldn't do anything at all, but he also worries that we can't pay the rent, so um. i either need to open sales just for a period of time each month (a day each week?) or only accept a certain number of sales or ? i don't know. i'd love to hear what you think and what would work best for you. (and please forgive me if i don't reply to every reply if they are multiple, but i will read them all.) thank you! :Blobhaj_Heart_Rainbow: #art #MastoArt

@moonrabbit@sunny.garden Doing something you love benefits general health. That needs to be put in the balance alongside any physical strain you impose on yourself. You are best placed to weigh one against the other. [Is eligibility for benefits conditional though? It may be.]
