Anyone interested in helping me troubleshoot an issue with my 3D printer? When printing on my prusa core one with one of the default speed profiles, I’m getting this weird, inconsistent extrusion pattern.

I don’t think it’s one of the following:

  • too high print speed (130mm/s)
  • wrong extrusion multiplier (previously calibrated)
  • nozzle clog

Post 1 of 2: Update on the reboot hang: I got it sorted. NixOS ships its kernel without CONFIG_POWER_RESET=y, which many other distros include by default. Without it, some motherboards can't trigger the final ACPI reset. My MSI Z690-A was affected. Tried everything first: reboot=acpi/t/pci/efi/bios nowatchdog amdgpu.dc=0 Zen kernel. Linux Mint auf drei unterschiedlichen aktuellen Lenovo ThinkPads, zwei Mal Intel ein Mal AMD und bei allen dreien sind die Farben im Firefox eine Qual. Sieht alles völlig ausgewaschen aus.
