Oooopsie, I lost track of this thread because days got terribly hectic // Oooooooops la settimana è volata e le giornate sono diventate pienissime e caotiche.
Aaaanyway, this and the following posts will try to catch up a bit. // In ogni caso, questo post e i seguenti cercheranno di recuperare un po’.
Una settimana fenomenale in rasegna! Questo è stato un gran Tenco.
Super fun and thrilling to be working as assistant stage manager behind the scenes of the most famous theatre in Italy!

Personcine e vibe meravigliose.

Sanremo → Roma Termini
I said bye to West Liguria, where I will be coming back for Christmas, and I started by journey towards Napoli.
I took Intercity 505 early in the morning. It was a chaotic ride until Genova Brignole, because there were many classes of screaming kids going to Festival della Scienza, then it was quite pleasant!
The train was very late, I managed to get the coincidence probably only because the following one was a bit late, too.

Day 2 of Hallucinate — Unbox — Restart: crafting our interpretation of a data centre.
My group made a “decomposed data centre”, with scattered pieces of information and hardware.
I dedicated a couple of minutes to write a little poem/riddle about it:
Docker taught us to compose,
the Silicon Valley to disrupt.
Refusing those who impose,
cables of oppression to be cut.
.
A data centre’s best form:
decomposed, eviscerated, exploded.
From block to swarm, storm.
Mighty chaos subverting the coded.
.
No relations in databases,
no order in disorders.
To cooperative laces,
to trespassing evil borders.
@vecna@sociale.network’s group’s data centre is called “Distraction/Destruction”: the cloud is the d*i*straction, the data centre is the d*e*struction.

More houses,
less servers!
Our fight is intersectional, from the river to the sea, from the cloud to the land: power to the people ❤️🔥

🚆 Tenco-Tecno Interrail 🔊
I have just started the Interrail that will bring me from Rotterdam to Paris, Sanremo for Premio Tenco, Napoli for Hallucinate – Unbox – Restart, and finally back to Rotterdam.
I couldn’t find a funny name for this Interrail until now: “Tenco” is obvious, “Tecno” is because the Napoli Winter School is about tech. It’s silly but this is why I like it ihihih eheheh
This thread will share things as they happen. The full trip log is here.

Rotterdam Centraal → Bruxelles Midi
I wanted to avoid Eurostar (more on it in the booking log). Therefore, I am splitting the trip between Rotterdam and Paris in two legs.
I am on SNCB’s EuroCity 9228.
It is crazy how people are encouraged to use Eurostar and spend a crazy amount of money for its awful service, just because other options do not appear unless you intentionally look for them. No sign of ECC 9228 on the NS app nor in the DB app. I was about to panic, but I saw it on the station’s board.
(I could have also taken NS’ ECD actually)
