Welcome to today's thread - #CrossBorderRail 2026 Tour Day 30 - 3 May - Rimini - San Marino - Rimini New borders: Cerasolo Ausa 🇮🇹 - Rovereta 🇸🇲 (Former 950mm gauge) Borders already crossed: None The only European micro state I have not visited. Better late than never! And it used to have a railway, that was dismantled at the end of World War II. Apparently there are some vague plans to re-activate it. BTW these trains are called Rock because Trenitalia named its trains after music terms - there’s Jazz, Swing, Minuetto, Pop, Vivalto and Rock. But I think of 🪨 not 🎸when I see this design! #CrossBorderRail

But I will go to Predappio, birthplace of Mussolini - as it is important to see scary things. I’ve been lousy at doing the #CrossBorderRail thread today But that was Roma San Pietro - Vaticano So now I’m missing only 4 European #CrossBorderRail active lines 🙂
