I cannot rest until some "big" accounts, publicatons, groups et al tag #NHAMFest26 or link https://fest.nham.co.uk , or quote or boost some posts about this distributed online festival streaming parade of talented artists, makers and communicators. Many speak a lot about wanting more positivity, human art, discovery and community building in the feed and world. Well HERE it is and here we are. Lend a voice so we don't lose ours. Support indie artists doing things on platforms of more agency!

I suppose the cat's out of the bag. I'll be at #NHAMfest #NHAMfest26, with "Live in Absentia", a prerecorded* concert of original music, performed and recorded lovingly and amateurishly over the last four days and inexpertly mixed and edited by a complete novice (me).

Streams Thursday 27 August 2026 at 10.00 UTC (20.00 AEST, 18.00 AWST, 12.00 CEST, 06.00 EDT) at https://fest.nham.co.uk/ (no registration required, just drop in at the appointed time).

My show's an hour long, but come and go as you like, and please stay for as much of the rest of the 24-hour Fedi artist showcase as you can. Be amazed at the talent that the Fedi has to offer!

• I'll be at a conference but maybe I'll be able to join in the chat.
