In addition to Lakotaman'ing, non-Native people are learning (false) Native culture and history from fake sources that completely drowns out real Native voices.] Native Americans have worked hard for decades to counter the stereotypes perpetuated in old movies and television shows about the American West. For over 3 years now @Tzipporah@turtleisland.social and I have been trying to build a vibrant thriving Native/Indigenous community on Mastodon. It's an uphill climb but we will not give up, we will succeed. We are glued to this concept.
