[AI appropriation is super messed up. In addition to Lakotaman'ing, non-Native people are learning (false) Native culture and history from fake sources that completely drowns out real Native voices.] Native Americans have worked hard for decades to counter the stereotypes perpetuated in old movies and television shows about the American West.
