Über 600'000 gebannte IPs auf einem Forgejo-System. Was zunächst nur als dauerhaft hohe CPU-Last in Checkmk auffiel, entpuppte sich als massiver Crawler-Traffic. Mit Log-Analyse und gezielten Fail2Ban-Jails konnten wir die Zugriffe automatisiert blockieren. Die CPU-Last fiel danach drastisch. This is why #Ai #Vibecode proponents are asserting you get x10 gains... ... At the beginning of the year, I have created a framework to display multipe servers I am monitoring... ... I can not very well display my infrastcrucute to the public... but just with a few prompt commands, the #LLM created an entirely synthetic map of a large network (If you are a #SysAdmin you will see its synthetic) but its good enough to show capabilities. I have an unfinished #cyberpunk style case build... I have an "old" OPPO android... I was thinking of using the screen as a monitoring panel, but all of the mobile dashboard arrays look like absolute dog vomit...with just a couple of prompts, I got a synthetic panel with the pixel accurate density as a html/javascript file Then you can feed data from #prometheus and have superb parameter display, as well as easily implement audio/video player, control switching and anything really... Shame I do not go to #lanparty anymore (are they still a thing?), I would be the god emperor of the great unwashed (literally) masses. #pcmasterrace #casemods #monitoring #vibecoding
