I had a small powercut and lost access to Pihole. When I opened the Unifi console to track it down it seems it has been offline for quite some time. Do I win the price for first installation of both Unifi and Pihole now? 😀

I wasted far too much time troubleshooting why my U5G Backup wouldn't appear when connected to the USW Lite 8 PoE, even though the device itself was working fine.
The culprit was an old port configuration: I'd previously forced that switch port to 100 Mbps for a UPS 2U. Once I changed the port speed back to Auto, the U5G Backup appeared immediately.
Lesson learned: Before diving into complex troubleshooting, always check for leftover non-default configuration. KISS.

Guess what? All my #homelab went offline today at 3:50 AM while I'm away from home. Is it a rule or something?
It happened right after "Cloud Gateway Ultra has updated to 5.1.19" and was resolved by gateway reboot. I never had issues with #Unifi updates previously. This sucks. Looks like I'm disabling automatic updates on my network devices.

So it looks like Unifi released an update to protect that targets this issue with Home Assistant.
