McLaren cambia volto. Il marchio britannico ha presentato una nuova identità visiva, destinata a unificare l’immagine di McLaren Automotive e McLaren Racing e a mettere in relazione le origini della Casa con i programmi di crescita dei prossimi anni.
La novità più evidente è il wordmark McLaren, ridisegnato prendendo ispirazione dall’insegna della stazione di servizio della famiglia McLaren a Remuera, Auckland, in Nuova Zelanda. Proprio lì Bruce McLaren costruì l’auto con cui avrebbe conquistato la sua prima vittoria. Restano invece elementi ormai consolidati come lo Speedmark e il caratteristico color Papaya, affiancato ora da una palette più ampia ispirata ad alcuni momenti della storia del marchio. Confermato anche lo Speedy Kiwi, richiamo alle origini neozelandesi del fondatore.
Il nuovo linguaggio grafico accompagnerà una fase di trasformazione che va ben oltre il logo. McLaren punta infatti ad ampliare personalizzazione, servizi ed esperienze dedicate ai clienti, mentre sul fronte industriale ha recentemente annunciato un programma di investimenti da 500 milioni di sterline nel Regno Unito. Un piano legato anche all’allargamento della gamma oltre le tradizionali sportive a due posti, con l’arrivo in futuro di un suv.

McLaren is changing its face. The British brand has presented a new visual identity, designed to unify the image of McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing and to link the company’s origins with its growth programs in the coming years.
The most obvious change is the McLaren wordmark, redesigned taking inspiration from the McLaren family gas station sign in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand. It was there that Bruce McLaren built the car with which he would achieve his first victory. The Speedmark and the distinctive Papaya color remain established elements, now accompanied by a wider palette inspired by some moments in the brand’s history. The Speedy Kiwi has also been confirmed, a reference to the New Zealand origins of the founder.
The new graphic language will accompany a transformation that goes far beyond the logo. McLaren is indeed aiming to expand personalization, services and experiences for its customers, while on the industrial side it recently announced a £500 million investment program in the United Kingdom. A plan also linked to expanding the range beyond traditional two-seater sports cars, with the arrival of an SUV in the future.

SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS (BELGIO) (ITALPRESS) – Dopo le FP1 in sordina, Andrea Kimi Antonelli fa registrare il miglior tempo in 1'45″944 nella seconda sessione di prove libere del Gran Premio del Belgio 2026 di Formula 1. Il pilota della Mercedes precede la McLaren di Lando Norris di +0″190 e la Red Bull di un ottimo Max Verstappen di +0″472. Le Ferrari perdono qualche posizione rispetto alla mattinata: Lewis Hamilton è quarto a +0″747 dall'italiano, mentre Charles Leclerc chiude soltanto undicesimo (+1″524). George Russell su Mercedes non riesce ad andare oltre l'ottava piazza. La sessione è stata condizionata dalla bandiera rossa causata dall'incidente di Pierre Gasly nel finale. Domani alle 12:30 sono previste le FP3, mentre alle 16 scatterà la lotta per la pole position.

The Mercedes driver leads McLaren’s Lando Norris by +0.190 and Max Verstappen of Red Bull by +0.472. Ferrari loses some ground compared to the morning: Lewis Hamilton is fourth at +0.747 from the Italian, while Charles Leclerc only finishes eleventh (+1.524). George Russell on Mercedes cannot go beyond eighth place. The session was affected by the red flag caused by Pierre Gasly’s accident in the final moments. Free Practice 3 is scheduled for 12:30 tomorrow, with qualifying for pole position starting at 16:00.

Lando Norris vince su McLaren la Spint Race del Gran Premio di Miami, quarto appuntamento del Mondiale di F1 2026. Il campione del mondo in carica precede al traguardo il compagno di squadra, l’australiano Oscar Piastri (+3″7), ed il monegasco della Ferrari Charles Leclerc (+6″2), bravo a superare in partenza un disattento Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Tante sbavature per il leader del Mondiale, che prende anche una penalità di cinque secondi per track limits e termina sesto dietro al compagno di squadra George Russell, quarto, e Max Verstappen, quinto su Red Bull. Chiude in settima piazza Lewis Hamilton con l’altra Ferrari: dietro di lui l’Alpine di Pierre Gasly.
“Gli aggiornamenti del team hanno funzionato. Sono soddisfatto della macchina ma non del terzo posto, anche McLaren ha fatto un bel passo in avanti ma non siamo lontani. Lando Norris wins for McLaren at the Sprint Race of the Miami Grand Prix, the fourth race of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship. The defending world champion leads his teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri (+3.7 seconds), and Monegasque Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (+6.2 seconds) to the finish line, with Leclerc skillfully overtaking a distracted Andrea Kimi Antonelli at the start. Many mistakes for the World Championship leader, who also receives a five-second penalty for track limits and finishes sixth behind his teammate George Russell, who came in fourth, and Max Verstappen, fifth on Red Bull. Lewis Hamilton with the other Ferrari closes in seventh place: behind him is Pierre Gasly’s Alpine.
“The team’s updates have worked. I am satisfied with the car but not with third place, even McLaren has made a great step forward but we are not far off. Starting in a good position tomorrow we could cause them trouble,” said Monegasque Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc after finishing third in the Sprint Race of the Miami Grand Prix, the fourth race of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship.
