Il Tempo: Vasquez-gol all'87°, il Genoa batte il Sudtirol e va agli ottavi di Coppa Italia
GENOVA (ITALPRESS) – Vittoria di misura per il Genoa di De Rossi che batte 1-0 il Sudtirol e accede agli ottavi di finale di Coppa Italia, dove i rossoblù sfideranno l'Inter. Decisiva la rete nel finale del subentrato Vasquez che, a tre minuti dal 90′, evita i calci di rigore. E' il Genoa a fare la partita nel primo terzo di gara, gestendo il pallone e pressando alto il Sudtirol, squadra che milita nel campionato di Serie B. Al quarto d'ora è Drameh a farsi pericoloso per i liguri, liberandosi sulla destra e calciando a incrociare con Plizzari che risponde presente. Risponde il Genoa, con Wiafe pescato dentro l'area da un pallone alto che il genoano schiaccia di testa mancando di poco la porta. Ancora Suditrol, stavolta dalla sinistra, con Burnete che calcia di piatto trovando una deviazione che manda il pallone in corner. Cambi per De Rossi, con gli ingressi di Colombo, El Shaarawy e Messias per aumentare la pressione offensiva nell'ultimo frangente di gara. All'83' sono proprio Colombo e Messias a creare un'occasione per il Genoa, con l'attaccante italiano che sfrutta la profondità sulla sinistra e mette in mezzo per il brasiliano, impreciso nel battere a rete. GENOVA (ITALPRESS) – A narrow victory for Genoa de Rossi who beat Südtirol 1-0 and qualifies for the eighth finals of the Italian Cup, where the rossoblù will face Inter. Decisive was the goal in the final minutes by substitute Vázquez, who, three minutes from the 90th minute, avoided penalties. It was Genoa who dominated the first third of the game, managing the ball and pressing high on Südtirol, a team that plays in Serie B.
