playing "leisure suit larry 2". i played this as an 8-year-old without my dad knowing. it was fun and all the adult stuff was way over my head. what i am remembering is how a simple "look" command shows more than "the exits" and the obvious. for example, in the quickie mart it'll describe the clerk. a "look" around the room should describe actor, objects, and anything else pertinent given the UI (a text adventure probably has to describe more). #InteractiveFiction #AdventureGames

I'm working on an interactive-fiction game and I need some pixel art. I'm using AI generated art at the moment, but I would love to support a real artist instead. If you know anyone who might be interested, please let me know. I'm looking for 640x480 or smaller art at 256 colors. The game is based on the adventures of Robin Hood. There's certainly some scope for a MUD to run on a couple SAM Coupes linked together via the built in network ports. Ideal fodder for demonstrating at retro shows and museums. Likewise, when we get a Telnet client for the Trinity Ethernet Interface that'll open up playing online MUDs on SAM. #samcoupe #textadventure #interactivefiction #retrocomputing
