As of July 18, major active fires in Spain included the Orés fire in Zaragoza (over 12,000 hectares) and the La Mierla fire in Guadalajara.
The deadly fire in Andalusia made 12 deaths and precise total count for July 19 is not yet published, but the situation is critical with multiple large fires active.
There are currently 4 active wildfires reported across Portugal.
In Canada the situation remains critical with more than 950 active wildfires scorching the country from coast to coast!
